1. What is a giveaway?

A WePay giveaway is a periodic cash-prize event. Every unspent entry in your wallet at the moment the giveaway closes is automatically entered as one independent chance to win. Entries are earned only by winning matches — they cannot be purchased, transferred, or gifted.

2. Giveaway types and schedule

Schedules can shift around platform events; any change is announced in-app at least TODO: 72h in advance.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible to enter a giveaway and to receive a prize, you must:

• Be at least TODO: 18 (or age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• Hold a single verified WePay account in good standing.
• Be a resident of a jurisdiction where participation in skill-based prize giveaways is legal. TODO: link/list excluded regions.
• Have completed identity verification before any prize is paid out (KYC).
• Not be an employee, contractor, or immediate family member of WePay or our prize-fund operator.

4. Entry entry mechanics

1. Entries are auto-entered. When a giveaway closes, every unspent entry in your wallet is entered as one independent chance.
2. One entry = one chance. More entries means more chances, but a single entry can still win.
3. No transfers. Entries are bound to the account that earned them.
4. Roll-over. Entries that don't win remain in your wallet for the next giveaway, unless they were single-giveaway bonus entries.
5. Per-giveaway entry cap (anti-monopoly): a single account's entries may be capped at TODO: 5% of total entries entered.

5. How winners are selected

Winners are selected by a provably-fair random source. We publish, for each giveaway:

• The total entry count entered.
• The random seed and the algorithm used to map seed → winner.
• The block hash / VRF output used as the source of randomness TODO: confirm chosen source.
• The winning account handles (not personally identifying).

Anyone can independently verify a giveaway by replaying the published algorithm with the published seed.

6. Prize tiers and split

For multi-winner giveaways, the prize is split into tiers. Example structure:

7. Payouts

• Winners are notified in-app and by email within TODO: 24h of the giveaway closing.
• Payouts are made in TODO: USD / EUR / stablecoin via TODO: supported methods.
• KYC verification must be completed within TODO: 14 days. Unverified winners forfeit the prize; it is re-selected from remaining eligible entries.
• Withholding taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the winner under local law. WePay does not provide tax advice.
• No cash equivalent or substitution will be offered for any specific prize.

8. Anti-fraud and disqualification

Any of the following void all unspent entries and may result in account closure without notice:

• Multiple accounts operated by the same person or household.
• Use of bots, scripts, emulators, modified clients, or any automation to play matches.
• Match-fixing, collusion, or coordinated win/loss arrangements.
• Account sharing, paid boosting, or selling entries / giveaway entries.
• Identity fraud at the KYC stage.
• Any breach of the Terms of Service.

9. Disputes and contact

If you believe a giveaway result is incorrect or your account has been incorrectly sanctioned, contact support within TODO: 14 days of the event. Disputes are reviewed within TODO: 10 business days.

10. Changes to these rules

We may update these rules from time to time. Material changes are announced in-app at least TODO: 72h before they take effect. Entries already in your wallet remain valid under the rules they were earned under for the next eligible giveaway.
